Position details


■Position1:R&D Engineer (Algorithm development on 3D computer vision)
Algorithm development on 3D computer vision area.
- depth sensing, simulteneous localization and mapping(SLAM), 3D reconstruction.
- object recognition, semantic segmentation.
- sensor fusion.


Required Skills:
- Solid fundamentals in Computer Vision.
- Solid programming skills (C/C++, python, etc)
- Experience with 3D geometry.
- Experience with modern machine learning.
- Experience with algorithm development on Linux.


■Position2:R&D Engineer (Image recognition technologies)
Research and develop image recognition technologies.
They includes following topics:
- Detection and identification of humans and objects
- Recognition of behaviors and gestures
- Segmentation and classification of scenes
- Reduction of CNN computation to run on edge devices such as SoC or ASIC
- Coupling of image sensors and LSI
Mainly machine learning techniques such as deep learning are used.

■Position3:R&D Engineer (Machine learning technologies for robot control)
1) Research engineer working on machine learning technologies for robot control, including but not limited to deep reinforcement learning. (Both theories and software systems.) Our target is real world robotics, and thus, in addition to generality, sample efficiency and transferability over environments, hardwares, and tasks are important research topics. Integration of control theory and machine learning is another challenge for safety guarantee and explainability. Applications will be wheeled car navigation, arm manipulation, and game AI. We are looking for those who love to challenge unsolved problems in robotics with machine learning approach and to deliver a novel solution to customers.
2) Research engineer in the area of latest deep Learning core algorithms, including generative adversarial network (GAN), unsupervised learning, one/few-shot learning, meta-learning and so on. this position is expected to tackle both enhancement of our open sourced deep learning framework ""Neural Network Libraries"" and development of deep learning based image/video creation application.


Required Skills:
1) Looking for candidates with strong machine learning skills, both in theories and implementations. Experience of years of research and paper publications in machine learning domain is expected. Experience of robotics and related skills, such as deep reinforcement learning, and ROS is preferable. Excellent programming skills are required, especially Python. Deep understanding of C/C++ is a plus. Understanding of robot system architecture design is another plus.
