Toyama prefecture & Connect Job will offer you "Work in Toyama Program", which provides you a full scholarship to learn Japanese and the opportunity to work for Japanese companies in Toyama Prefecture.

The program will start from January 2020, and we will hold an interview selection event on December 15th, 2019!

Selection process

You can come to the event and may get the interview chance without preliminary registration to the fair. However, we will encourage you to register beforehand, because it is more likely for you to successfully be the interviewees with the companies if you have the preliminary interview with Connect Job Agent.

Application Requirements

  • Those who majored Engineering and graduated from universities
  • Those who currently major Engineering, will graduate from universities, and can join a company in Toyama prefecture by October 2020.
  • Those who are Interested in working in Toyama prefecture
  • Those who willing to learn Japanese seriously and have confidence to achieve JLPT N4 or N3 level by October 2020 through the free Japanese language course.

24 Program Guidance

* Please try to join the program guidance on 10th January as much as possible. On the day you will receive textbooks, syllabus, and some homework.

Japanese language program

duration February to August 2020 (8 months)
schedule Feb-Mar: 3 hours*5 working days*8 weeks (120 hours)
Apr-Jun: 2 hours*5 working days*13 weeks (130 hours)
Jul-Aug: 6 hours*5 working days*12 weeks (340 hours)
Before the first day of the class you need to do homework of katakana & hiragana (homework will be offered in the course guidance on Jan 10th.)
Need to study for 2 to 3 hours per day at home

Frequently asked questions

Can I apply if I've already graduated or have work experience?

Sure! You can join the event even if you are not students or freshgrads.

When will the interviewees be decided?

They will be determined one week before the event.

I do not speak Japanese. Can I join the fair?

Yes. This event is for those who do not speak Japanese. The Interview and companies' introduction will be conducted in Vietnamese.

Will the interviews be conducted in Japanese?

The interview will be conducted in Vietnamese. Besides you and the company's human resources manager, a translator will participate in the interview.

When we can get offers from companies?

In the fastest case, you will receive the offer on the day afetr the event. The result will be announced via email by Connect Job.

Can I have an intereview with companies without applying for them beforehand?

If you apply for companies you are interested in,it is more likely to get a interview chance. Moreover,if you are successfully selected as a potential candidate, you will be noticed the schedule of interview via Connect Job Agent before the event.
Otherwise, you need to hand in your CV on the day of the event. The schedule will be noticed by the end of the lunch time on the event day.
